The hotel restaurant Lasaretti wanted to renew the layout and usability of their website. One of the biggest places for improvement was the management of the site: The previous site was difficult to update and therefore it was rarely updated. In addition, the previous platform provider did not anymore provide updates for the software. That is why they had to find a completely new partner for website creation. Liana Technologies was chosen because their price-quality ratio was excellent and it was known that the company is reliable, fast and flexible. Advertising agency Kluu from Oulu, Finland was in charge of designing the layout and user interface. From the point of view of Kluu, the challenge was to seamlessly combine hotel and restaurant services as well as conference and party facilities into one site. In addition, the layout was to express the unique feel and history of Lasaretti area. The project was started by planning the site's general structure with the help of which it was easy to quickly add content. After the structure was finished, the visual matters were designed and added.

Lasaretti wanted a website that would be easy to update and from where the customers would quickly find what they are looking for. It was also important that the site could later on be modified a little to suit different campaigns and the seasons. During the project, Lasaretti decided to also renew the company's Facebook page, where landing pages for various services were created. Facebook was regarded as a great channel for reaching consumer customers and therefore separate pages were created for hotel and restaurant services. The advantage of a Facebook page created with a publishing system is that the site can be made impressive and it follows the general image of the company. The information that the reader is looking for can easily be displayed and the updates on the wall, photos and offers work as a good marketing channel.

The hotel restaurant Lasaretti now has a new and fresh-looking website, Facebook page and a digital newsletter created with LianaMailer. LianaCMS platform is used for updating the site's three different language versions: Finnish, Russian and English. An integration to the reservation programme was also created and it has been embedded into the predominant layout. 

The contents of the Facebook page have actively been updated and it has gotten positive feedback. There is still a lot to do to increase the number of likers through marketing. Lasaretti was happy especially with the fact that the technical implementation did not alter the advertising agency's original visual image - it was implemented as such.
