Oy SCA Hygiene Products Ab wanted to create a site for their brand Lotus. The idea was to easily be able to create campaign sites alongside the company's own website. Important for the new site was that it should take advantage of the latest technology in responsive design so that the functions and layout of the site would automatically scale according to the end device. The responsive methods were used in order to reach the main target group: Consumers who use the internet more frequently on the move. LianaCMS of Liana Technologies was chosen as the technical platform.

Design agency Taivas designed the layout of the site. The starting point was to create a user-friendly site where the products could easily be found according to category, which supports the brand and to which it is easy to attach campaigns.  

"We wanted to design a easy-to-update site so that the customers can themselves update both the Finnish and the international site and picture bank that we also created." says Raita Räsänen about the design phase of the site.

Responsive implementation and attaching different campaign sites as a part of the basic site played a huge role in the implementation. This is how both the company's site and the dynamic Lotus brand site were brought together in lotus.fi. The customer will during one visit find the company's details, information on hygiene and cleanliness and a campaign site menu. The site has been created responsive and therefore it is always displayed optimally regardless of the end device. In the campaign site, many different functions are used, such as forms, galleries and competitions.

The result of the project was a bilingual and responsive site for the Lotus brand. Attached to the Finnish company website was the campaign site that uses several features, such as forms, competitions and galleries. Managing campaigns is handy with LianaCMS and the company in charge of the design can make the site of each campaign directly to desktop and mobile-optimized view. Easily manageable campaign site entity is made for boosting consumer product marketing campaigns.

Already during the competitive bidding, Liana Technologies stood out with their straightforward touch. The site for the Kalevala Women's Association was freshened up and became more user-friendly.
